The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants is the national, professional organization for all Certified Public Accountants. The Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) is “The Source & Resource for Construction Financial Professionals” and the only nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the construction financial professional. Will Anderson (Jonas's General Manager) worked with a team of members to set up the CFMA Southern Ontario Chapter in 2009. Will currently serves as the Secretary of CFMA Southern Ontario.

   
NECA (National Electrical Contractors Association) 

 

The National Electrical Contractors Association is the voice of the $100 billion industry responsible for lighting, power, and communication systems in buildings and communities across the United States. NECA’s national office and 120 local chapters advance the electrical contracting industry through advocacy, education, research, and standards development. NECA celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2001.

NECA is dedicated to enhancing the industry through continuing education, labor relations, current information and promotional activities. It is the voice of the electrical contracting industry, working to promote higher standards, quality workmanship and training for a skilled workforce.

 
ASHRAE (American Society of Heating Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers) 

ASHRAE, founded in 1894, is an international organization of 50,000 persons. ASHRAE fulfills its mission of advancing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration to serve humanity and promote a sustainable world through research, standards writing, publishing and continuing education.

 
HRAI (Heating Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada) 

The Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI), the national HVACR industry association. HRAI is a partnership of industry sector organizations that represents Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR) manufacturers, wholesalers and contractors who provide the Canadian public with products and services for indoor comfort and essential refrigeration processes

Toronto Construction Association 

The Toronto Construction Association, or the General Builders' Society as it was called then, was founded in February 1867 by a group of 58 Canadian construction industry executives. The association's mandate in those early days was to promote the highest possible standards of professionalism in an industry characterized by stiff competition and often razor thin margins.

Today, more than 140 years later, not much has changed. Our membership is bigger, of course, with more than 2200 member companies representing something approaching 300, 000 local construction industry practitioners, but our mandate is ostensibly the same.
