Toronto – November 20, 2009: After months of planning and organizing, the 2009 Jonas User Group Conferences have come to a wrap. The first user group was held at the Novotel Hotel in Toronto, Ontario in September and the second user group was held at the Monte Carlo Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada just last week. Between the two conferences, the client feedback has been very positive. Despite an unstable economy the Jonas team was pleased with the turnout of attendees. Leyla Delici from The Alberta Glass Company attended the Las Vegas User Group at the Monte Carlo and made the following comment about her experience. “Being as busy as we are, and not having a lot of spare time to dig around and discover new functions in Jonas, this was a great way to get users together to exchange info, tips, and learn new processes. This was definitely beneficial for our company” The two full days of training, lectures and keynote speaker sessions combined with an evening dinner gave users an opportunity to learn, share ideas with each other and see how everyone uses Jonas Construction software differently. “I’d like to thank all of our customers who attended the user groups this year. It really is because of them that these events are so successful. In my opinion, the most valuable things they can take away from these events are the things that they learn from each other – I saw a lot of that happening this year. It was great!” says Angela Brutto, Director of Support. Looking forward, next year's User Groups will take place in the fall of 2010. No exact dates and locations have been chosen yet but it promises to be another must-attend event for all Jonas users. New ideas and discussions has already been buzzing around the Toronto head office. Information will be posted as it becomes available. To get some feedback from attendees, read below.
